In the book of Revelation God had a clear word for the church at Ephesus: Return to your first love and repent! If the church today would hear these words of instruction and warning then we would begin to regain their influence in culture. Jesus also gave instruction to believers in the New Testament when he gave his greatest sermon, the Sermon on the Mount. In this message Josh takes us through a deeper look at the beatitudes and Christ’s keys to regaining our intimacy with God and influence on others. This is the second part of a two part series.

If Christ were to say anything to the church in America today, what would it be? Surely there could be a list of things, but perhaps one of the first would be "Repent of Self-righteousness." The church today has a bad habit of getting caught up in our own efforts and programs and in doing so forgets the importance of simply loving Christ. In this sermon Josh shares from God's Word the similarities between the church of Ephesus in Revelation and the church in America today. Then through a deep look at Luke 18 we are able to see how it is that we are to respond and return to Christ - our first love. This is the first of a two part series.
